WISE WOMEN WORKSHOPS
Moving Guided Visualisations
Adding physical movement to guided visualisations adds another level of insight. We will experience three or four different pathworkings and share the insights gained
Moving Meditations 13th March
Using pictures, affirmations, discussion, visualisations, posture and slow movements from various dance styles, we will perform moving meditations for the qualities of thirteen Goddesses (one for each moon of the year)
Gaia & the Wheel of the Year
Gaia is experienced as the earth moves through the seasons, through the wheel of the year. Through dance and discussion we will discover the underlying principles of: the spring and autumn equinoxes, the winter and summer solstices, Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas and Samhain.
Your Inner Aphrodite
Rediscover the pleasures of the five senses. Explore the Aphrodite archetype within yourself through colour, adornment, dance, enticement, pictures, symbols, stories, guided meditation, poetry, legend, dance and perfume. Find out how you can take Aphrodite home with you.
Hecate at the Crossroads
Hecate is the Guardian of the Crossroads and Keeper of Past, Present & Future. We will stand at the crossroads of our lives with Hecate, applaud our past successes, take stock of our present situation and share dreams for the future.
MySoul Cards
Using the intuitive collage process, you will make cards which reflect and reveal the varying aspects of your inner personality, your outer world and relationship, your spirituality and influential archetypes. You will learn how to consult your cards and tap into your deep wisdom. Within the group you can share insights and experiences.
Goddess Shapes
Certain shapes are symbolic of the Goddess throughout the world. They are found within nature and within ourselves and have been incorporated into dance, particularly bellydance. Through discussion and movement we will explore the meaning and feeling of these shapes.
Design Your Own Retreat
Whether it is 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days, a structured retreat can help you to rediscover your true self, re-charge your batteries & boost your self-esteem. Learn how to create a retreat & adapt it for different purposes. The busier your life, the more you need the retreat. You are worth the time.
The Descent of Inanna
Myth tells us how Inanna descended into the underworld, encountered her shadow sister and ascended, restored and resplendent. Through dance, discussion & visualisation we will explore the myth and its relevance to out lives today.
Tarot Dances & Dances of the Elements
Discussion, guided visualisations and moving/dancing meditations will help you to connect more fully with the energies and wisdom of selected tarot cards and the energies of the Earth, Air, Fire & Water.
No previous dance experience is necessary for any of the workshops – just a general level of fitness & mobility. Notes will be provided where appropriate.
If you want Helen to bring one of these workshops to your venue, email helen@goddessdance.co.uk to discuss date, time & fee.
